Supported Platforms
- macOS 14 or newer
- iPadOS 17 or newer
- iOS 17 or newer
Photos Permission
If PanoFuser cannot import or save photos, review the system Photos permission.
- Mac: System Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos
- iPhone and iPad: Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos
iCloud-Only Originals
If a source photo exists only in iCloud, PanoFuser asks before you allow Apple Photos to download the original through Apple's own Photos/iCloud path. Local files and locally available Photos originals do not require an internet connection for panorama creation.
Guided Camera
Guided Camera is available on iPhone and iPad. It stores captured source photos locally in private app storage while the session is in progress. If the app is interrupted, PanoFuser can offer recovery on the next launch so you can save or discard the surviving originals.
Stitching Failures
Panoramas need overlapping source photos. If stitching fails, try fewer photos, stronger overlap, a different order, or removing a blurry or unrelated source. Source Tilt and overlap trim can help with difficult sets.
HDR HEIC Export
For supported HDR photo sets, PanoFuser can preserve HDR appearance in HEIC panorama exports. JPEG, PNG, and TIFF exports are standard SDR images.
PanoFuser can also show HDR preview for supported gain-map results. True HDR highlight brightness is visible only on HDR-capable displays.
Privacy
PanoFuser processes photos locally, does not upload your images, does not collect analytics, and does not track you. Source photos are not modified.
